Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our JR Products propane pigtail. It's an RV Type 1 by 1/4 inch male NPT, and it's 20 inches long. So folks, this 20 inch long pigtail will connect your propane cylinder to the regulator. Now it's gonna be used for a single or dual tank setup, most likely on the front of your travel trailer, camper or whatnot, and it's also used to connect a remote tank to a high pressure regulator. So the female Type 1 fitting here with green connects to the valve on the propane cylinder while the male NPT, or National Pipe Thread, connects to the propane regulator itself.
Now as you can see, this hose is made of a durable thermoplastic material and it has brass fittings on the ends, and those have been approved for use with LP gas only. Now this has been regulated for high pressure and high flow rate as well, to handle those unregulated propanes as well. So folks, as always, be safe when you're doing anything with propane or gas of any kind, make sure you're using the right fittings that are regulated and approved for those pressures. This is my second replacement of the pigtails on our Jayco travel trailer. These appear to be good quality, heavy duty OEM replacements. The tubing on any of these pigtails just get hard and inflexible over time, and need to be replaced.

JR Propane pigtails JR84MR worked perfectly, exactly what was needed, old lines were cracked and leaking. My Rockwood Minilite is now ready for my 4th of July camping trip. Thanks “etrailer” We will now be able to use our fridge and have hot water as we will be at a DC park in the ADK, dry camping. Also, Amy in customer service was fantastic. Followed up immediately on phone messages and was very professional, polite and super nice!
